BearBlock stores your blocked sites list locally on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. That's it.
BearBlock is a browser extension that lets you block websites by domain. When you add a domain to your block list, BearBlock prevents your browser from loading that site.
None. BearBlock does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your list of blocked domains is saved locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API and never leaves your device.
Nothing. We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties. There is no data to share because we don't collect any.
BearBlock requests only the minimum browser permissions necessary to block websites. These permissions are used solely to intercept and block web requests to domains on your block list. We do not use these permissions to monitor, record, or transmit your browsing activity.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Given BearBlock's simplicity, we don't expect significant changes.
